Linda
Prentice, M.D.

Dr. Prentice was born in New Iberia, Louisiana. With degrees in both Psychology & Education and after 8 years of teaching, Dr. Prentice and her family moved to Shreveport, Louisiana where she went to medical school at LSU. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. She joined The Woman’s Group August 2001 and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Prentice considers her greatest accomplishments to be her two daughters, Ashley and Kristy. She is proud of her three fabulous grandchildren Jake, Anna and Lucas. When not working, she enjoys spending her time with family and friends as well as water skiing, reading and playing guitar.

Stephanie Carson-Henderson,
M.D.
ABOG Diplomate
Dr. Carson was born in Dallas, Texas and grew up in the West
Texas town of Alpine. She attended the University of Notre Dame
as a Notre Dame Scholar where she received a B.A. in Preprofessional
Studies and English Literature. Dr. Carson then returned to Texas
where she received her M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine in
Houston. She completed her internship and residency at John Peter
Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. Dr. Carson joined The Woman's Group
in August 2003 and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics
and Gynecology. Dr. Carson and her husband, Terrance, have been
married for 7 years and have a beautiful 2 year old daughter,
Isabel. Dr. Carson is fluent in Spanish and enjoys reading, gardening,
traveling and college football.

Barbara
Webster, D.O.
ABOG Diplomate
Dr. Webster was born in Hamburg, Germany. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in architecture in 1983, she worked as an architect for 3 years. Dr. Webster then married her husband, Clive, and became the mother of Nicholas and Laura, who are now teenagers. Dr. Webster attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, where she graduated with honors and received her Doctorate of Medicine. After a traditional rotating internship at John Peter Smith Hospital, she completed her residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Webster joined The Woman’s Group in July 2004 and is a diplomate with the American Boards of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is equally fluent in English and German, and she also speaks some Spanish. When not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and gardening.

Stephanie
Taylor, M.D.
Active Board Candidate
Dr. Taylor was born in Shreveport, Louisiana. She completed her undergraduate studies at Northwestern State University where she received a B.A. in Biology. She received her M.D. from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Taylor joined The Woman’s Group in July 2006 and is an Active Candidate with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is one of six siblings. She and her college sweetheart, Carl, have been married for six years. They have two adorable children, Camron, 4 and Jaden, 8 months. They recently relocated to Bedford to be closer to family. When not working she enjoys spending time with her family and reading.

Emily Emmet, M.D.
ABOG Diplomate
Dr. Emmet was born in Anson, Texas. She graduated cum laude from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science in biology. Dr. Emmet then attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She completed her ob-gyn residency at Methodist Medical Center in Dallas and has been in private practice in the mid-cities area since 2005. Dr. Emmet joined the Woman’s Group in January 2009 and is a diplomate with the American Boards of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Emmet has been married to her husband, David, for 11 years and they have three children; twins Matthew and Joshua, and little brother, Nathan. When not working, Dr. Emmet enjoys running, baking and reading.
